26.02.04 kalbum: news update
working towards a new release of kalbum. if you have any features or ideas you'd like included then let me know.

planned features for the next release:
  • embedded albums from within kalbum
  • working window layouts
  • exif data import (working in cvs)
  • exif data display (working in cvs)
  • preferences dialog
    • thumbnail size and slide theme
    • various exported html theme editing
    • local directories for images and html templates
  • provide at least one other html template design
  • as-you-type spell checking
  • thumbnail cache
  • preview disable (working in cvs)
  • dvd player jpeg viewer compatible export
  • relational filenames within albums

kalbum is a KDE 3 application that allows you to create albums from a collection of images.

main features:

  • easy to use thumbnail interface
  • export the albums as a complete web site, or .war web archive
  • easy to edit html templates for creating a customized web site
  • edit multiple images at once
  • versatile gui
  • original images remain unchanged
  • drag and drop
